How do I use these in my class?

To understand how to use Digital Education Tools, it helps to first understand what they are and the roles that they play within learning. 

Any learning that takes place using technology can be considered Digital Learning. 

So what are the applications or functions of these Digital Technologies ?

Digital tech can be used as a:

Here are some examples:    

• Interactive Smart Boards
• Data Projectors
• VR and AR headsets
• Simulation Lab ( this is really great for our Science teachers)

 

Digital Education Tools are a great way to enhance active learning and collaboration amongst your students, and make your lessons more exciting and engaging!

Here are some ways that I would use Digital Tools in my classroom:

• I would use online games to practice certain concepts. 
• Using VR headsets to transport learners to medieval England during the times of Shakespeare.
• I can use a data projector to present a slide show about the themes of a novel, and include video links that can be shown via the projector. 
• I would get the kids to create their own presentations for their orals. An alternate option, where possible, is to encourage learners to make their presentations in a VR format that can immerse their peers during their presentation.
